Enjoy :D

Hi everybody, today i’m talking  about hobbies.
People may have many different types of hobbies during their lives. When we are very young most of our time is spent playing with "barbies" or toy trucks. In fact, some of the most popular hobbies include watching TV or videos, reading magazines or books, playing a musical instrument, listening to music or singing in a choir . Lots of people like travelling as a hobby (this is my dream, I need to win the Kino). The main goal of a hobby is to give yourself an enjoyable break from your everyday work or school. I think, that a hobby is something you should do only for yourself.
I have many different hobbies and I have things that I enjoy to do. I’m going to share my hobbies and my activities with you (:
I like reading boks, listening to music, watching movies or tv series (when Megaploud was alive…. Oh! I’m a criminal), to go out with my friends and eating in a restaurant.  But… the most important hobbies for me are: Writing and acting.
The last one, I started when I was 8 years old. But I finished when I started studying psychology, ‘cause I practice in my school, and I… I don’t know… I know that I miss it so much  ): I hope to start again soon. Acting is a wonderful thing, you can learn to speak, to feel, make you free.
I’m writing since I was 14 years old, and I never stop. when you write novels, tales or poems .. you can go to impossible places, you can be with impossible people and you can be an impossible ... impossible is nothing in a fantasy’s world.
For this reason, I spend around 5 hours a week in my hobbies :D

I don't save the world

Hello, don't hit me, but I'm not a green, I care this topic, of course, is my home too, but that isn' t my priority.

I guess people learn environmentally friendly practices on the Internet, school (yes, the last time, there education from pre-school on this) or on television (Discovery Kids! Doki sing about that everyday, listen it please :D)

Have I incorported recycling into my habits? No, I mean, for me, have recycling habits would sort out the garbage, don’t use plastic bags or Styrofoam cups, etc… Obviously, I do not throw trash tp the floor, for example ... in short, does not worsen the planet but neither safe.

I do not use bike because I live in Quilicura and the university is in the other side of the world to me!. Go to the university in bicycle is dangerous for me.
I haven’t joined environmental organizations, because I've joined child protection organizations, again, my priority has been another.

I wish people cared more own resources. They claim to about HidroAysen but they use nike sneakers, they demand for Hydroaysen but use plastic bags, bounce they have their whole day on Android, They said: save the forests! And they print posters about that made of paper, ironic don’t you?.... yes, you can hate me, I don’ t care.

I reduced carbon footprint by killing a few people, is it?

In Santiago, people need to really commit. Do not give me that “the government should...” WE EACH MUST SAVE THE PLANET, do not expect someone else to do public policy....

Yes, I sounded a bit nasty this whole post, but I hate the hypocrisy of such people ... Sorry about that.

I wanna be an actress, I said, but now...

If I chose another career… I’m not sure, I said in the first video: I want to be an actress...but it could be medicine too, I mean, I would liked study medicine. I want to be a Doctor House ahahh!

For some, the answer to the question, “Why do you want to study medicine?” is a simple one: to make money.  These individuals, researches said, are in a decrease minority.  But what does this mean?  These students are famous for their exaggerated claims of altruism while the true and “hidden” motivation remains the big salary.  …or at least that was the belief…. Hm! Who care…

The practice of Medicine offers a breadth of experiences that it is hard to find in any other subject. Every day brings different patients with different needs. It’s a great choice for people who strive to understand and apply research findings to improve the lives of the patients in their care. It offers a meaningful career that, if I’m being frank, is prestigious, secure and well-paid.
Where? In the same place, I mean, in La Chile, of course :D

However, I don’t study Medicine, because practicing Medicine can be arduous, stressful, frustrating and bureaucratic and it’s not suited for everyone (…for me).  The score of the PSU is very high, Medicine takes too many years, and I hate the doctor's ego!

My life would be different if I was studying medicine. Probably would have less social life, but the stress would be less ... because, in psychology, I hate that everyone are so "shuer crazy," I came to study a science and I found ... this!

Whatever! “We are working for you” hahah

The moral brain

Moral thinking allows us to live in society. Empathy, social norms, guilt, this have allowed us to live in peace with others. It has allowed the existence of civilization, and indeed of the human race.

But now, how is the moral processing in the brain? This is the question of scientists from the University of Miami, New Mexico and Stanford in California, Walter Sinnott-Armstrong and DukeUniversity in North Carolina.

Their article called “Hemispheric Asymmetries Immoral during Processing of Stimuli”, was published in The Journal Frontiers in Evolutionary Neuroscience.

Discover all the mysteries of the brain are still today an ‘impossible mission’. That is the reason for these scientists did not seek the neural network processing of stimuli immoral, they investigated which hemisphere showed increased electrical activity.

The team used an MRIf machine to measure electrical activity through the levels of hemoglobin in the blood.

For example, a test, volunteers were shown pictures of neutral or immoral situations. At another point, volunteers saw different kinds of printed statements, with different themes immoral, for example, incest, pathogens, and control through neutral situations.

The researcher shows an increased activity in the left hemisphere of the brain. There is lateralization of information moral / immoral to receive us.

I hope one day this knowledge can help to reduce undesirable immoral behavior.

Something in me

Music means a lot to me. Music is just something in me. I can't imagine my life without it. Everywhere I go, I'm either listening to music, or some tune is playing in my head. It’s part of me.  Music is the highest form of art; a song can have deep meanings and can be the only way one can find to express themselves.

                                                               The biggest

I started listening ‘my music’ when I was 12 years old. It´s hard to me define what kind of music is my favorite… I think I like rock so much. I like rock music because it is so multifaceted. There are so many sub-genres, then when you want listen something strong or sweet, you can find it. Rock music makes me feel alive.

My favorite band is… I don’t know, the last time I listened so much The Cardigans (Nina is so perfect!). I don’t remember who showed me this band, I think it was my dad…. Almost all the musicians I know it was for my father.

Well, on the other hand, I listen to Beirut (it’s folk, I know that)… Zach (singer) has an amazing voice, I love the sound of his voice.
